Four stages, run nightly. First, a 10-point Stage-2 trend template scores each stock on moving-average structure, distance from its 52-week high and low, and relative strength; the gate is 9 of 10. Second, base quality: the 14-day ATR% must be below the stock's own 50-day median, base depth 20% or less, and the trigger no more than 1.25x the 50-day moving average. Third, two pattern books scan what remains. A breakout book and a VCP book. The breakout book looks for a leading stock that has gone quiet — a tight, shallow, not-yet-extended base — breaking a 5-day high on volume of at least 1.75 times its 50-day average.
